Progressive Pensacola believes that it is the duty of City Council members, as public servants, to attend every scheduled meeting. To promote accountability, Progressive Pensacola tracks their attendance at all scheduled meetings. This includes:

  • Committee meetings (Mondays)
  • Council meetings (Thursdays)
  • Joint City/County meetings
  • Special Council workshops

We do not count attendance of Council members to meetings of auxiliary boards such as the Florida-Alabama TPO, nor to unofficial events, receptions, etc.

If a Council member arrives late or leaves a meeting early by more than fifteen minutes, he or she will only get half credit.
