About Progressive Pensacola

Progressive Pensacola was founded in early 2008, with the following goals:

• to be a voice of progress for the City of Pensacola
• to promote transparency in government
• to spur citizen involvement in their government

Progressive Pensacola is a mix of original reporting, commentary, and news aggregation focusing on issues affecting foremost the City of Pensacola, but also regional and state issues. Founder and publisher Derek Cosson, along with numerous guest contributors, provide the site’s content.
