Qualifying: Day 1

The Supervisor of Elections reports seventeen candidates qualified for the ballot today.

Qualifying began at noon today and extends through noon Friday. Candidates may qualify either by prior submission of a required number of petitions or payment of a qualifying fee which varies by office. Candidates who have pre-filed but do not complete qualifying before noon Friday will not appear on the ballot.

Primary elections will be held August 24; the general election is November 2.
