How can I access the video of this meeting? I heard that sheriff Morgan proposed that a number of city/county departments consolidate even though he hasn’t fulfilled his consolidation campaign promisses. Why would the city council listen to the sheriff when the issues he raised were not listed on the the agenda? Why would a strong mayor want to ask the county to deal with a code enforcement, purchasing or employment related issue? Didn’t we just vote for a strong mayor? Why would we want to subjugate the city to county control?
