Racetracker: City Council, At-Large A

The Pensacola City Council is the legislative body of the City of Pensacola. It is comprised of seven members elected by district and two members elected at large. Beginning with the 2010 elections, the Mayor of Pensacola will no longer be a member of the City Council; he will instead be an elected executive.

Members of Council earn an annual salary of $13,998. Elections for the Pensacola City Council are non-partisan. In accordance with the new City Charter, Council members elected in 2010 for Districts 2, 4, 6, and At-Large “A” will serve four-year terms.

The District

The two at-large seats on the City Council are elected at-large. All registered City electors are eligible to vote in the at-large races.
