Racetracker: Escambia County Commission, District 2

The five-member Board of County Commissioners exercises legislative and executive functions of the County government. Commissioners are elected to four-year terms and earn an annual salary of $73,819, plus an annual travel allowance of $2,400.

The District

District 2 includes much of southwestern Escambia County (see map), from downtown Pensacola southwest to the Perdido Bay area. The District 2 seat is currently held by Gene Valentino.
