AP, Florida media suing FSU
This morning, the Associated Press, along with more than a dozen Florida newspapers and television stations (including the Pensacola News Journal) filed suit against Florida State University and the National Collegiate Athletics association, alleging that the university and the NCAA conspired to conceal documents that are public record under Florida’s Sunshine laws.
The suit seeks the immediate release of documents related to FSU’s ongoing academic fraud case.
FSU’s president, T. K. Wetherell, announced today that he would retire. It’s probably completely unrelated.

The inclusion of the NCAA in the suit makes this VERY interesting indeed. If it is shown that they colluded with FSU there won’t be a rug big enough to sweep everything under.
NCAA has refused to turn over the documents saying they are not subject to Sunshine Laws.
After so much is swept under the rug, nobody can walk on it anymore resulting in
a fall
